GYTC8S fiber optic cable is a typical outdoor use self supported fiber cable for aerial applications. It’s also called the figure 8 cable because of its structure looks like the figure 8.
Fiber optic cable GYTC8S, 2~144 fibers, central strength member (steel), jelly filled, fiber contained loose tube and PP filler (if necessary) stranded, water blocking jelly, longitudinally covered by copolymer coated steel tape, PE outer sheath, fig 8 type, the suspension line (1.2×3=3.6mm), 7 steel wires stranded together. G652D SM fiber.
